![]() The main objective of Prabhat’s workshops is to show the actor how to condition their body for performance in contemporary theatre. Prabhat system is a constantly evolving practice for the actor, rooted in lessons taught to him by gurus in Noh, Butho, Karali, Kudiyattam and Yoga. He integrates a number ofmethodologies and exercises seamlessly to form his own contemporary practice. Prabhat is a close colleague of Sankar Venkateshwaran. ![]() Poor-box Productions, known for plays like THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES/KISSA YONI KA, ART, SHIRLEY VALENTINE, LIFT KARA DE and others are looking for young female actors for a new play written by Eve Ensler, the playwright of THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES. The world premiere of the play will take place in India in Miss Ensler's presence in November. For this purpose Poor Box Productions is holding 2 master workshops in August 2009 over weekends. Twenty actors will be admitted per workshop. Workshop Conductors: Kaizaad Kotwal, Emmy winner in the USA (Professor of film and theatre with 20 year teaching career in the USA) and Mahabanoo Mody-Kotwal- Producer/Director /Actor.
